Travel to New Haven

Yale is located in the heart of New Haven (Connecticut), a city easily reachable by various modes of transportation:

Train

New Haven’s Union Station is served by the Metro-North commuter rail from New York (Grand Central), and connected to the larger east coast via Amtrak. Hotels and Yale campus are linked to Union Station via a free “downtown shuttle” and via taxi (est. price to hotels/campus is $10).

Bus

Greyhound, Peter Pan, and Megabus all arrive in New Haven from various origins in New England. Please see their respective websites for more information.

Air

New Haven’s airport has limited flights but is a short taxi ride away from hotels and the conference venue. For the larger region, Bradley Airport (Hartford, CT), JFK (NYC), Laguardia (NYC), Newark (Newark, NJ) are all a short bus or train ride away from New Haven. For transportation from these airports, see “GO” Airport Shuttles, or Metro-North (for NYC airports), or Amtrak (for Newark Airport).
